You Are Not A Victim!

What would make a teenage boy stand up to fight against an unsightly Giant? What would make a young slave stand up to a King and dare to defy His order because of His allegiance to God? What would possess a young foreign girl to go before a King to help deliver her people in the face of death? The simple answer is, “Covenant Value”.

David’s understanding of His covenant with God, enabled him to walk with empowered authority to defeat the greatest giant on the earth, at that time. Daniel’s understanding of His covenant with God allowed Him to challenge the King in favor of God. Of course, God’s way won and motivated the King to declare Jehovah God to be the one and only true God. Esther’s understanding of the covenant between God and the Jews, empowered her to go before the king, in the face of death, to deliver her people. Knowing and understanding who God created you to be, will cause you to understand that you are not a victim. You have been empowered with value by God.

The Bible says that we were created in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). He created man to have dominion over the earth and every thing in it. We have dominion over things, not people. When you understand your empowered value it motivates fearless trust in God’s ability to take care of you and direct you into His plans and purposes. God works all things out for our good, when we love Him. He moves things and people out of the way, when He has to fulfill His plans and purposes for your life.

So, when mountains of difficulties arise, don’t magnify the obstacle. Magnify the God you serve! When you feel overwhelmed by life, don’t magnify the situation. Magnify God! He has already devised the strategy for your lift. You are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). Conquer Life! Conquer Circumstances! Conquer the devil!
