God’s Got You!

Okay! Anyone in this hemisphere knows that Super Bowl is here again. It is about to be Game Day! I love every bit of it. But, like clockwork, every year this time comes around, I immediately revert to the daily game called life, that we get to play.

I love certain sports like football, tennis, basketball and even soccer. But, what I enjoy most about watching these sports, are the lessons that I learn from these competitively driven arenas. Each team works hard around set goals, to achieve the ultimate reward, called the Championship. The Championship encompasses a world of opportunities, wealth and fame that resounds globally. It’s the Prize that brings a lift.

This can translate in the game of life. We are all on a journey designed by God. He created us with purpose and creativity and drive. There are obstacles that present themselves daily, sometimes minute-by-minute. But, in our case we are confident in our win because, “God’s Got This!” The scripture says:

Jeremiah 1:5. King James Version

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

God was relaying to Jeremiah that He designed him with purpose, before the foundation of the world. Jeremiah was ordained by God for God’s specific purpose. Another scripture also states that God looks over His word to perform it. If God created you for His purpose, you can be sure that He has your back. Your success brings God glory. If you are in covenant with Him, your success is one of His main focus. Understanding who we are and who God is, will allow us to win in the game of Life. Loving God’s purpose and design, will ensure that we win in the game of Life. Delighting in God’s ways will ensure that you win in the game of Life. Remember, money and material things do not determine your value. You determine the value of money and material things. God gave Adam dominion over the earth, animals and all living things. He did not give him dominion over mankind. Only God has dominion over man. He made us for His purpose and His design. When we forget God’s command to us we start to digress and live beneath our purpose and privilege. Ask the devil, how that went for Him.

Live your best life to please God and follow His design. He has got your back, for the rest of your life! Knowing the power that lies in God’s preservation, will propel you to a place of peace and power. God’s Got You!
