Special Delivery

Imagine your UPS Delivery person at your door with the announcement and the presentation of a “Special Delivery”. The excitement that wells up inside is overwhelming as you try to decipher what is this gift and who could it be from? The level of expectation instantaneously goes from 0 to 100. You are now the recipient of something deemed super special and you cannot even determine what it is. The rush to rip open the protective covering call wrapping paper, sometimes compels you to rip everything apart, in spite of its beauty and intricate creativity. The most important priority is what is enclosed inside. The only thing that can eliminate all this anticipation and urgent “rippation”, is to discover what is the special gift that has been carefully packaged and delivered.

This year, let me propose to you, that God has some special deliveries with your name on it. God has prepared special gifts and blessings just for you. The Bible says, “Daily He loads us with benefits…” (Psalm 68:19). Expect the special deliveries orchestrated by God, Himself. However, with God, the packaging does not always match the gift. After all, He did send His Son as a gift delivered in a manger in a stable. He allowed Jesus to be born to Mary in one of the most controversial dilemmas. My advice would be to celebrate with Praise and Thanksgiving, just knowing that God can only give good gifts. If it’s a God-Gift, it is automatically a Good-Gift.

Expect God’s best this year. Begin the year with praise and thanksgiving for all that God has encompassed in the package of 2024. Declare this to be the Great God-Opportunity. Prepare for God’s blessings. Allow God to increase your capacity to maximize every blessing as they come. Be a blessing wherever you go to whomever you meet.

This is the year of the Lord’s Favor!!!!
