New, New Year!

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19)

There is a light of expectancy that springs forth at the end of every year. It is the light impregnated with the unknown. We reflect on the days that have quickly come and gone. We are motivated by what we envision for the days ahead. We have just indulged in the biggest celebration of the one who came to give us life and life more abundantly. We gifted friends and family and even those we did not know personally. But, the celebration has to now be the driving force to how we embark on the new year. How has the King of kings affected your decision-making for the New Year? Have you communicated with God regarding how you conquer the New Year? Your connection with God will determine how successful you are in the New Year. God knows the end from the beginning. He affords us the privilege of an aerial view of life. Therefore, it behooves us to work with God on our strategy for success. Thus the saying, “If God is all you have, God is all you need”.

So, as you celebrate with lights and festivities, do it responsibly. Honor God with your Celebration. Honor others with your Celebration. Honor yourself with your Celebration. You are empowered to empower value everywhere you go. Use your power effectively.
