Love Demonstrated
Love can be demonstrated in countless ways, varying from simple acts of kindness to grand gestures of affection. It can manifest through a gentle touch, a caring smile, or a supportive word during times of need. Sometimes, love is shown through selfless sacrifices, putting the needs and happiness of others before our own. Love can also be demonstrated through acts of service, providing help and support to those we care for.
However, an even greater demonstration of love, is being God’s representative to others, in the manner that God is instructing you to do so. If we allow God to show us people at their point of need, we will be able to meet people at their point of need. A God-Revelation of people will allow you to be the exact solution to their exact problem at the exact time that they need it. Living a life connected to God, will place you at advantageous peak, called the “Cutting Edge”. God is Love! God is the definition of Love! If you want to thrive in the area of Love, you have to live in the place called “God-Rhythm”. David was one of the few men that was able to attain the title of “Man after God’s own Heart”. His heart was in rhythm with God’s Heart. Even when he made the biggest mistake of his life, he quickly repented once he caught a glimpse of how much his sin grieved the heart of God. Our ability to stay in sync with God, will allow us to demonstrate God’s love at an ultimately, high level.
In this season of Love, may we stay connected to God, so that we could demonstrate love everywhere we go like our love is on steroids. The Bible awards two commandments as the greatest two commandments (Matthew 22:37-39):
1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
2. Love your neighbor as yourself.
LOVE is God! God is LOVE! Do not attempt to love without God. If you do, you will miss the mark every time. When you hear the phrase “What the world needs, Is Love, Real Love”, that is absolutely correct. What the world needs is GOD!
